Thank you for considering being a Bible Club Leader for RYAA Soccer. We will strive to make your experience with RYAA incredibly fun, successful and rewarding.
RYAA is a faith-based youth sports organization that seeks to develop the character, families, and faith of the communities of East Palo Alto and east Menlo Park. We do that by creating programs that allow children to learn and play a sport, while also learning about the Bible, faith in God, and good character. The key to the program is you, a caring adult that is willing to dedicate time and impart wisdom to the youth of our community.
The Bible Club leader works with the other leaders to prepare and teach a Bible class on Saturdays. The goal of the class is to teach a portion of the Bible, and spiritual truths, in a fun and interesting way that is age appropriate. Soccer players will be encouraged to attend the class because they can earn a badge which they can wear on their uniforms. Depending on how many leaders there are, you may be responsible for teaching a lesson, preparing a game or a song, or bringing a snack.

The Bible class will last about 45 minutes each Saturday. You will need 1 to 2 hours of preparation time during the week.
